(Associate up to 5 years / Consultant 5-9 years / Senior Consultant 10 years & above)

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to develop functional data visualizations or dashboards which involves working closely with business subject matter experts to understand, propose and formulate solutions
• Assist stakeholders to interpret and understand complex dataset for insights
• Transform, improve and integrate data based on requirements provided by stakeholders
• Build and design from multiple data sets into self-service Data Visualization tool like Tableau, Qlik that is used for storytelling, insights and presentation
• Design, build, launch and maintain efficient and reliable visualisation with actionable insights
• Instrument department’s dashboards to have common look and feel
• Validate accuracy of the logic with clear test scenarios and back-testing using historical, including the necessary data extraction and transformation
• Work with developers to code and test dashboard in an Agile Environment that practices CI / CD
• Ensure documentation and traceability of requirements and, process flow diagrams, and other project documents

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Informaton Technology, Business Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Operation Research, or equivalent quantitative fields
• Strong data visualization skills using Tableau, QlikView, Microsoft Excel, VBA, PowerPoint is required
• Experience in data modelling, data access, and data storage infrastructure like Data Mart, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in developing data visualizations
• Excellent communications skill, able to engage stakeholders across levels. Proven ability in business analysis and problem solving
• Strong Experience in Python/ R and SQL
• Experience in Ajax, Rest API, and communicating with databases (e.g. MS SQL Server, mongoDB, postgres/gis)
• Proficient with processing data from open-standard file format or data interchange format (e.g. XML, JSON)
• Experience with Agile, human-centered design, experimentation and A/B testing an advantage
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing on AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
